Reading is a beautiful city in Pennsylvania. The county seat of Berks County, Pennsylvania is Reading. It is located at the heart of the Greater Reading Area. Reading in Pennsylvania is mainly famous for the breathtaking view of Mount Penn from this marvelous place. A Japanese pagoda is the signature mark of Reading, Pennsylvania. Tourists from round the globe flock to this city for Reading mainly for this “pagoda”. This Japanese Pagoda was built in 1908 as a hotel, but the strange thing is this was never used as a hotel. The Duryea Drive ascends the Mount Penn with its numerous sharp and hair-pin bends. This road was named after famous Charles Duryea. Then name o0f this city is adopted from the Reading Railway which is not in use any more. This railroad was built to bring anthracite coal to this coal region of Pennsylvania.

The renowned poet Wallace Stevens was born in Reading. So this small but beautiful place is a natural choice for people interested in literature.
