Arcadia University is Philadelphia's famous university. It was founded in the year 1853 and is known as the liberal arts university. The university is located in the Glenside area of Pennsylvania. It has a total of about three thousand six hundred students. It is a co-educational institution and ranks among the top twenty universities in the United States. A very beautiful castle, named, Grey Towers Castle, is situated within the campus of the university of Arcadia in Philadelphia. |
The history of Arcadia University dates back to the period of the nineteenth century. The Beaver School was founded in the year 1853 but it gained the approval of a university in the year 1872. The Beaver College was shifted to Jenkintown area in Pennsylvania in 1928. The year was 2001 when Beaver College was transformed to Arcadia University. The university became one of the most popular universities of Arcadia and students from different parts of the world came in huge numbers.
Various courses are offered by the Arcadia University in many subjects like Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Fine Arts, Humanities, Education, Social Science and many more.
